ATHLETE SPONSORSHIPS and/or FUNDRAISERS ARE DUE BEFORE 4/1/2026

The Sheridan Lacrosse Club believes lacrosse should be accessible to every kid in our hometown community and spare no effort keeping our dues as low as possible. Therefore, the Club offers several opportunities to help assist with season dues for those willing to find a sponsor or help with essential roles throughout the season. The options are as follows:

 

$250 Athlete Sponsorship

We will award business with plaques for $250 Athlete Sponsorships again this year.  Those pursuing a sponsorship from a local business should use the promo code provided on the registration summary page.

Essential Volunteers Positions

The Club will offer up to a $250 Volunteer credit for season-long commitments in the following positions.

(Requires form submission below)

  • Head or Assistant Coach

  • First Year Certified Official (officials also receive compensation from the league)

  • Scoretable Assistant (statistician, clock operator, scorekeeper)

  • Field & Facility Maintenance (lines fields, etc.)

  • Home Weekend Volunteer Including Showcase Event

More information about $250 Athlete Sponsorships:

$250 Athlete Sponsorship:  Sponsorships are a great way to get our community involved!! 

  • Athletes should visit businesses he/she is interested in asking for sponsorships (family businesses, clients, patients, etc.).  Athletes are also encouraged to ask friends/family for sponsorships as well.

  • Please make sure to emphasize the Sheridan Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization.

  • We have a one-page sheet to hand out to businesses/people sponsors explaining our Club program and includes additional club funding options.  Find the PDF below.

  • Businesses/People Sponsors can provide the $250 sponsorship money directly through the club’s Venmo account or write a check to the “Sheridan Lacrosse Club”.  If money is given to the athlete, the athlete is responsible for turning in the money per instructions below.  NO CASH PLEASE!

  • Businesses will be given a sponsorship plaque if we are provided with the business name, business address, contact person, contact phone, contact email.
